A few days ago I had made a post showing a fantasy storm on the GFS and we were trying to determine whether or not this storm was just fantasy or a possibility. There was indeed some support for this storm to form but since that point and time the GFS has lost that storm.
Interestingly enough, it appears as though last nights 00z ECM appears to be showing what looks to be a weak area of low pressure off the NJ coast..
It will be interesting to see how this plays out with the ECM now on board with a system off the Jersey coast, albeit weak..and the GFS completely losing the system. Will the 12 Z ECM still have this system or was it indeed completely fantasy?
