Rain On The Way!

rain

The first thing that is going to effect the region will be a col front moving across the area this evening with a shortwave ..however..most rainfall from that should be along the front itself. This cold front should stall to the south of the KABE/KPHL region.

The next weather producer will be a shortwave dropping thru northern mexico earlier today that will move thru the ohio valley area. From this low pressure area rain will spread across the region on tuesday..because of the dryness of the air it may take some time to saturate the column (over the north).

The low pressure should go to the west of the region and keep us in the warm sector. This low pressure could pass as far west as the great lakes but it will be responsible for sending a warm front thru the region and there could be some convection with its passage. So,in addition to the rain we may have to be on the look out for some thunderstorm activity on tuesday evening.
