Today is going to be a Partly Sunny day across most of the region ..However as you can see by the above image we are expecting showers to move into Ohio by the afternoon and move into the rest of the Mid Atlantic and the Northeast overnight or in the early morning hours of the 10th!
These showers will be in response to a low pressure that will be cutting towards the Great Lakes with a warm front extending east across Northern New England (reason for the warmer temps on Tuesday) and a cold front extending south from the low! This low pressure and its attending cold front are what was responsible for the severe weather that occurred across the south central area of the US.
