A Return To Rainy Weather!

The period of concern would be thursday thru friday night with perhaps some lingering showers into early Saturday! A complex series of fronts will be effecting the area in this time frame with a cold front dropping across the region  However, that cold front should then move back north as a warm front and a wave of low pressure potentially to develop along that front off the eastern seaboard, off the coast of New Jersey! This low pressure and the associated cold front looks to bring the return of moisture across the area. At this point and time the rainfall does not appear as if it is going to be excessive but rather more of a nuisance type rainfall. However with the dry weather that we have been having of late…any rainfall would be welcomed.

Another thing that almost seems certain with a split flow in the pattern developing along with some blocking over the GL region would be below normal temperatures for the time frame.

Stay tuned for further updates on the return to unsettled weather!
