April 1st Weather Discussion

Well, they say April showers bring forth May Flowers. Well if that is the case there might not be that many flowers in the month of May if the first week of April is any indication of the rest of the month.

Today is going to be a mostly sunny day across the region and with a ridge of high pressure building into the region its going to be the start of a profound warm up across the region.

Sunny skies are going to be the rule across the region and basically for the next week or so there is not going to be much to talk about weather wise other then sunny skies and warm temperatures

So how warm is it going to become? Well we will have to take that one day at a time. Starting with today..the coolest location will be the state of Maine with temperatures in the 50s and then right down and along the SNE coast temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s. Further in land temperatures will be in the 70s and i would not be surprised to see some locations inland in PA touch  80 degrees.

The high temperature for the last day of March @ KABE was 63 degrees!
