Covering Some New Areas For Severe Weather!

We will be covering some new areas with severe weather since our fan base has grown into regions that we normally would not cover!

The last update mentioned about an area of low pressure that would be moving across the country and then heading towards the Great Lakes region…

This area of low pressure will bring a good soaking rain to the Mid Atlantic and Northeast but we also mentioned about how it would also have severe weather involved with it but not effecting the Northern Mid Atlantic to the Northeast..

The area that it will be effecting first we have put together a preliminary map for :

CURRENTFORECASTIMAGE3-8

The greatest risk at this point and time is going to be Southern Lousianna where models are suggesting around 2000-3000 CAPE. Lift index across the region is –4 to – 6 . Temperatures look to be in the mid 70s-mid 80s along the southern areas. SWEAT index ranges from 300 north to as much as 450. Trigger is going to be an approaching cold front.

At this point and time it is too early to go into specifics as far as what type of severe weather one can expect but for the time being the area highlighted should pay attention to the guidance ahead as the parameters in place as shown suggest it may get a little rough!

Stay tuned as we will fine tune this as we go thru the next 48 hrs!
