Severe Weather May Be Limited Along The East Coast Tonight

90fwbg

While we have had severe weather to the west pretty much as expected..the severe weather across the east coast or along the east coast from E PA into NJ/ DE/ Etc may be limited.

As you can tell looking at the image above you can see that the warm front never made it as far north as was expected and anticipated.

You can see that the warmest temperatures never really made it north of the SE PA area. KPHL made it into the mid 70s where slightly further north at ABE never made it out of the lower 60s and have now fallen into the 50s.

So with the lack of any real warmth further north this is more then likely going to limit severe thunderstorms and just bring the area some heavy rains with some embedded thunder. There should still be some strong gusty winds with the passage of the front and still a sharp drop in temperatures.

We will continue to monitor things over the next 12-18 hrs and if anything changes will update this.
