Wet & Stormy Pattern Continues ! Next Up April 15-17th

After the rainfall over the next 24 hrs …guidance is continuing to indicated that yet another system is going to come across the country with another cold front. This time around temperatures are not going to get as warm as they did before this latest round of severe weather and rainfall..

Latest operational ECM images were not available so am going to instead turn to the ensemble means which were available..

ECM does have the temperatures warming a little bit in the region overnight on Saturday with the temperatures at that point getting around the 60 degree mark..

As you can see the GFS is in general agreement with the ECM on this system. Generally at this point and time this looks like it will be 1-2 inches of rainfall across the region, Without any really warm air out ahead of the system ..there is not anticipated any severe weather at this point and time. Instead expect a chilly soaking rainfall.

In the next 24-48 hrs we will be issuing a map as far as rainfall totals and what you can expect. One thing for sure the pattern we have been locked in will continue for the for seeable future…

This system will have severe weather but like mentioned should not effect the northern regions.. Stay tuned for the areas where it may effect!
