Severe Weather Potential Between the 4th and the 6th

We brought up this possibility back on the 31st in the early morning hours and now it appears as though the Severe Prediction Center along with the Weather Channel are now beginning to pick up on this potential as well..

As usual there is some timing differences between the models with the ECM now being faster with the front then the GFS. However looking at the GFS you can see the strong wind shear that is associated with this front ..

Which would be an indication of a very strong cold front.. temperatures out ahead of the front should get into the 60s to near 70 ..temperatures behind the front may not get out of the 40s and 30s further north…

Stay tuned ..as this gets closer we will be able to nail down the exact areas that will have to worry about severe weather & just what type of severe weather as well!
