December 11th Daily Weather Discussion

December 10th high temperature @ KABE was 32 degrees. While not as cold as the previous couple days this still ends up well below normal for this time of the year.

Today is going to be a rather complicated day by the end of it. A low pressure area should be cutting to our NW and dragging a cold front along with it. However this cold front will not be crossing until later on Sunday. Out ahead of this cold front will be precipitation in the form of rain, wintry mix of sleet, snow and freezing rain. This should start to move into the region after 7 PM. So things may get a little dicey later this  evening into the early overnight…

Temperatures are not going to be as cold. From about Southern New England and points SW if you were to draw a line thru SE PA and into SE MD and points east , they will be in the lower to middle 40s.

To the north of that line temperatures will be in the 30s and then when you get into Maine ..mainly NW it will be in the 20s!
