August 12th Severe Weather Outlook

812

Stationary front continues to reside across the southeast with a low pressure area over GA. This stationary front runs back west and then runs North to another area of low pressure over the Rockies.

Low pressure and its associated trough are going to start to move East Southeast while another low pressure moving across Canada starts to drop a cold front towards the south..

It will be these fronts that will be the focus for severe weather to occur in the SE and the low pressure with associated trough dropping to the ESE  in the plains states to the south central region.

With shear on the order of 40 Knots plus ..the main primary threat should be straight line winds in excess of 60-70 MPH..

Stay tuned for more information should it become necessary!
