First of the 00z guidance comes in tonight and takes a turn to the snowy side. Especially for those north of KPHL but the GFS even includes KPHL in on what the GFS says would be a major snowstorm.. We begin at 156 hrs out and for the purpose of this discussion these are the surface temp maps..
There you have it. Total precipitation over the 24 hr period..
Will the GFS continue to be the outlier or will the rest of guidance trend towards this solution as well? It will be interesting to see what happens and how this plays out.
Perhaps March will go out like a Lion…Stay tuned cause we will be on top of this situation.
