While the 12 Z GFS has slowed up the timing and tracks the system to the south. The latest 12 Z GGEM comes out and supports what the 00z GFS was saying last night..
As we know is generally the case with the models they will show the various possible solutions at this time range. Thus far we have seen the GFS and now the GGEM in support of a snowstorm during this time period. Last nights ECM was also very similar to the 00z GFS which would make it similar to the 12 Z GGEM.
We will continue to keep an eye on this and see if indeed Winter has one more surprise for us and could go out in March like a Lion.
The one nice thing about snow this time of the year is that it will make the snow lovers happy if it were to occur and it does not last long on the ground due to the warmer sun and the angle of the sun.
