A brief look at guidance with total rainfall suggests that the region is indeed in for a Major Rain maker which will result in Major Flooding across the region.
Keep in mind areas to the west have snow on the ground in addition to the rains that will fall. Also rivers are pretty much already running on the high side so it will not take much to cause flooding.
As far as the storm it pretty much will be like last time with one low cutting towards the NW while another develops along the front and moves NNE ..one difference is the two will merge together and become one and will be located over Western NY and move N into canada by about 96 hrs out.
Again we expect this storm to produce an abundant amount of rain and this could potentially be a very dangerous storm creating some very dangerous situations.
