March 6-8th Flooding Rains ..Perhaps Ending As Snow.

Two areas of low pressure with an associated cold front are going to be moving thru the region during this time period. One low will go to the north while another low pressure area will basically move thru the area up and along the coast. These low pressures in combination with the cold front are going to provide the area with once again some very heavy rains. It is possible that areas to the west of the white line could end up changing to snow at some point and time before the end of the event. However.. it is too early to pinpoint specifics at this time range.

One thing that is certain is that this system will provide the area with heavy rains and the potential for flooding. Temperatures will be on the mild side out ahead of the cold front with highs in the 40-60 degree range .

Temperatures behind the front will be in the 20s over night sunday and struggle to get out of the 30s on monday!
