High temperature at KABE today was 90 degrees. While this was above normal..the overnight low ended up putting the departure for the 3rd at negative 2 on the day!
Two words are going to describe the weather today and for about the next week! Hot & Dry!
Today is going to be a mostly sunny day across the region with the start of some very hot weather.
Temperatures are going to be in the 80s up north where there could be an outside chances at a shower or thundershower to the 90s further to the south.
This heat that is upcoming is going to be real life threatening heat..especially for the elderly. Real Wx Services advises everyone that if they are outside over the next week to make sure they have plenty of fluids with them! Dehydration is very real when it comes to this type of heat and heat stroke is also very real! Please take caution with any outside activities!
