With one report of severe weather in the NE that occurred today and the line of showers and thunderstorms weakening..its pretty safe to say that the severe weather today ended up exactly as Real Wx Services said it would. Isolated and not widespread.
There was a 2% risk of a tornado last night across the region by SPC but since that time they had dropped it! Its hard to get storms going without decent shear and mid level lapse rates.
