July 10th Daily Weather Discussion

High temperature at KABE on the 9th was 91 degrees! So the string of 90 degree days continues. However that should be coming to an end today with the approach of an advancing cold front. With this cold front one can expect showers and thunderstorms (nothing severe more or less garden variety type with heavy rains) ..However..as of 2 AM this area of rain is beginning to fall apart. Thinking is that because the front is moving so slowly that with the daytime heat out ahead of the front and the front still not crossed the area..it should once again enhance the showers and thunderstorms. Also potential interaction with an ULL off the NC coast moving N NE could get absorbed into the cold front. This too could enhance the rains across E PA into NJ and SNE.

Temperatures today will be in the 70s north to 80s south.
