Cranking up the heat!
August 3rd high temperature @ KABE was 81 degrees

Today is going to be a warm to hot day across the vast majority of the region. Dewpoints will be on the rise as well as the temperatures. The day should be a mainly sunny day, however..with humidity creeping back up and daytime heating this could spark off some showers and thunderstorms well in advance of an approaching cold front. However..majority of the day should be rain free and any areas that get severe storms will be isolated.
Temperatures across the region will be in the low to mid 80s in the state of Maine. Mid to upper 80s into Southern New England and low to mid 80s in the interior regions of the Northeast. East Central PA to SE PA to South central Pa and south temperatures will be in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Western PA into western NY low to mid 80s.
So as you can see it is shaping up to be a warm to hot day across the region.
