August 6th Weather Discussion
As we reload, a WIDESPREAD below normal day on tap!

A cold front is currently working its way across the area. This cold front and its attending trough will be responsible for breaking the most recently warm and humid air mass. Today will be a widespread below normal day across the region as far as temperatures. As far as sensible weather is concerned.. If you are down south of the PA/MD border you are going to be dealing with rain and embedded thunderstorms. Some of this rain may make it into SE PA...however..that looks to be a 50/50 shot at this point and time. Southern Jersey will be under the gun for rain and embedded thunderstorms as well. Further to the north along the SNE coast a slight chance that the developing low pressure area could clip that region. NNE also has a chance at scattered showers as well. The rest of the region should be looking at partly to mostly sunny skies.
Like I mentioned today will be a cooler day temperature wise and humidity levels should drop as well. Daytime high temperatures will be from 70-80 across the whole NE corridor from PA north. To the south of PA 70-80 until you get into southern VA and points south where the upper 80s to lower 90s will be the rule.
August 5th High temperature @ KABE was 84 degrees..
