August 16th Daily Weather Discussion

August 15th the high temperature @ KABE was 72 degrees. This was actually 10 degrees below normal for this time of the year.

Today the weather is mainly going to consist of the chance of showers and thunderstorms across the region with an advancing cold front. This cold front may not make it past the region but instead may stall right on top of the region which would then keep the chance for showers and thunderstorms across the region. Some of these storms will contain heavy rains and damaging winds refer to the severe zone issued for the latest.

Temperatures are going to be in the 70s north to high 80s south. Humidity will also be quite high with the dew points around 70.
