August 9th Daily Weather Discussion

The high temperature on August 8th ended up being 89 degrees at KABE.

The potential for another heat wave exists in the KABE area. The temperatures over the next three days have the potential to be in the lower 90s. Increasing humidity will make this feel a little warmer then it actually is but I do not think this will be anything like the last heat wave that effected the region.

Today will be a mostly sunny day with the exception of the further north one goes. In Maine there will be a chance of rain and further to the south there maybe some scattered showers as well down to about N PA and NNJ. If you do not see any shower activity or thunderstorms then you will be experiencing those sunny skies.

Temperatures from the 70s in Maine to the 80s and then 90s from PA /NJ on southwards.
