Final Map for 1/17-19 Snow & Ice Storm

final

R.W.S is upgrading the level 2 Alert to a Level 3 Alert with the potential of a widespread area potentially receiving .25 inches of ice along with a light to moderate snow event.

Travel from after midnight till Tuesday noon is not recommended. This storm has high bust potential which can lead in either direction. If the cold air remains at the surface longer then anticipated then ice amounts could be higher. If it erodes quicker..then snow and ice amounts would be lower.

At the present time we are going with the colder guidance as most places today struggled to reach there high temperatures.

Level 3 Alert means that a Significant Winter Storm will be effecting the area within 24 hrs.

Stay tuned for further updates!
