January 20-22nd Update

final

R.W.S is continuing the level 3 Alert! Models today have continued to trend west & stronger & wetter! This should not be a surprise because the NOGAPS has been west of the guidance the whole time with this system.

A moderate to heavy snowfall can be expected with the heavies to the NE over eastern Maine and Cape Cod. This will be about an 8-12 hr snow event with snow moving in this evening and over sometime Friday AM .

Roads will become snowcovered and slippery & travel conditions will go down hill rapidly. This snow will be followed by the coldest air of the season which means it will not be going anywhere & this snow is a pre cursor for another bigger potential storm next week!

Stay tuned for more information on this storm!
