This increase in shear could be the reason that IGOR is starting to weaken and has risen to a 937 MB pressure and is now a 125 KT storm. This is still a Cat 4 Hurricane however. We will continue to monitor this and see if this is the beginning of a trend or if it is getting ready to undergo an ERC..
