Well pretty much now the National Hurricane Center has come out and talked about the possibility that Real Wx Service mentioned earlier. That it was not Matthew that would be heading towards FL..
THE GFS...UKMET...AND ECMWF ALL MOVE MATTHEW
WELL INLAND OVER THE SOUTHERN PORTION OF THE YUCATAN PENINSULA IN
2-3 DAYS. AFTER THAT TIME...THE GFS AND ECMWF ACTUALLY WEAKEN
MATTHEW...THEN DEVELOP A SECOND CYCLONE OVER THE NORTHWEST
CARIBBEAN SEA.
This is pretty much the reason why I mentioned that Matthew could just dissipate over land and what we see heading towards FL would not be Matthew. There is also a chance that whatever heads towards FL might not be completely tropical but could be a hybrid instead..
