IGOR weakening some more!

As yesterday evening progressed and into the early morning hours IGOR has continued to weaken. Almost as fast as his pressure had dropped his pressure is rising,,,IGOR is now just barely a CAT 4 hurricane at 115 KT with winds of 130 mph.

No you will not hear this information from the National Hurricane Center for another 1.5 hours but these are the current conditions as of 6 Z. If the weakening continues it is possible that IGOR could be back to a CAT 3 at the 5 AM National Hurricane Center update.

Never the less we feel the NHC will confirm this weakening with their next update.

The other thing you will notice is that IGOR is now moving to the WNW if not more to the NW at the end of the loop above.

Latest models are now all showing the recurve occurring with the only land mass in any real danger from this storm as the residents of Bermuda.

Storm-11-Spaghetti

This will not be a storm to effect the East Coast and will not be a storm that makes landfall on the east coast.

You can read alot of information on weather forums where people are talking about this hitting the east coast and there simply is NO SUPPORT for any of this discussion to be occurring. However, this discussion creates traffic and creates hits and revenue.

Here at Real Wx Services we prefer to stick to the truth of what is happening and occurring and the reality of the weather and not something we want or wish to happen and this is the reason why we stand out among the rest! This is why the forecasting group comes under such close scrutiny.

However, we feel that the track record speaks for itself and how we stay ahead of the National Hurricane Center with each and every storm.
