Igor Still Barely a Tropical Storm

Latest IR of IGOR and IGOR continues to be a sheared cyclone. Despite some convection occurring it is well west of the center of circulation.

As of 15 Z-20-30 knots of shear continue to plague this system. The system still has dry air to contend with as well.

Looking at convergence, right now it is lacking convergence with the best convergence being off to the west…meanwhile some decent divergence is occurring.

Most of the 12 Z models have this still moving WNW, although some have some strange looking tracks with some showing a southwest movement then south and even one showing after the SW to south and east movement..perhaps indicating a looping type track..

Development of this system will continue to be slow…no change to the thinking that we have been talking about for 24 + hours.
