Pressure is also now up to 1006 mbs. Matter of fact NHC has gone so far to say that it no longer supports tropical storm intensity. Also talks about the potential to weaken even more. Talk about it being a highly sheared system. And 35 KTS is being generous. They talk about its still forecasted to become a hurricane in 3 days as it heads into a more favorable environment.
Not completely sure what favorable environment they are looking at perhaps they are looking more at the models instead of what actually lies ahead which is what I have been focusing on.
They actually have this going down to 30 KT by 18 Z…
We will have to wait and see what happens but your source of information will continue to stay ahead and keep you updated.
